Commercial Lines Assistant:

The Company: A large reputable corporation in Santa Maria, California is growing and is looking for passionate, driven Individuals to join their team and make a positive impact within their organization.

The position: The primary role for the Commercial Lines Support Specialist is to help with the everyday support of client files and goes about as the front-line administrative processor. They remain knowledge of advances in the insurance business, remain side by side of the kinds of protection items accessible and work with customers and others in a professional manner.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Answers phone calls from customers and contacts and coordinates to appropriate colleagues while performing managerial duties such as recording, photocopying and faxing in a productive manner.
  • Supports customer group in peer auditing and gathering of customer presentations and keeps up the day to day office support capacities such as stocking printers, taking care of sensitive documents and mail, deliveries, and other needs.
  • Follows up on endorsements that have been recently put together by authorized individuals and are remarkable from carriers. Upon receipt, check endorsements for accuracy, charges, and sends to customer utilizing templates.
  • Follows up on new business entries with carriers to obtain status and issue standard declarations of insurance and keeps an eye on payment status of direct bill arrangements to guarantee approaches are not cancelled due to non-payment of premiums.
  • Checks audits for accuracy while doing bill reviews and audit letters.

What we need from you:

  • Familiarity on insurance markets, products, services insurance ratings underwriting procedures with a basic knowledge on commercial lines of coverage.
  • Proficient in agency management systems software and online rating systems.
  • Experience in Customer Service with preference given to people with commercial lines experience.
  • A Property & Casualty License issues by the State of CA is ideal.
  • Bilingual is a plus*
