Employee Benefits Enrollment Assistant – Group Life & Health
 

If you have experience working in the administrative functions of group benefits you’ll want to explore this awesome career opportunity. Our client is seeking a strong, self-motivated candidate who has experience working in professional office setting, preferably with health insurance.  The Enrollment Assistant will be responsible for assisting the department in the day-to-day enrollment needs to allow successful client retention

Responsibilities:

  • Process client enrollment applications including reviewing for errors and missing information
  • Set up online enrollment for clients
  • Assist in the preparation of proposal via Microsoft Excel
  • Maintain current and accurate notes and files in customer database
  • Work directly with team members and insurance carriers to confirm enrollments or correct any issues
  • Complete client service tasks assigned by various people in the department
  • Assist in other areas of the company when needed

Requirements:

  • Willing to take a computer literacy and Microsoft Excel assessment in a timely manner before resume is submitted to the client for review
  • Active CA Life & Health preferred but not required
  • One year of experience working with employee benefits or enrollment
  • 2+ years working in a professional office environment
  • High School Diploma required
  • Excellent data entry and attention to detail
  • Very well organized ad able to handle multiple tasks with the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to effectively communicate via email, phone and in person in a sincere, kind and professional manner

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This is a temporary position that will last approximately 5 months. While there may be opportunity for the right candidate to be hired after the temporary assignment it is not guaranteed and will be based on the company’s current needs at the end of the temporary assignment
  • Hourly pay will be determined based on experience but
  • During the temporary assignment medical benefits are offered through Insurance Relief
